Grevengoed's Preseason Predictions

BCS Standings Prediction:

1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Penn State
4. USC
5. Oklahoma
6. Alabama
7. Boise State
8. Michigan State
9. LSU
10. Ohio State

National Championship: Florida vs Texas
Oklahoma will lose to Texas and climb there way back to the top but not quite enough to jump over Penn State or USC. Alabama will threaten for the Championship and maybe even be # 2 late in the season but they will lose to Florida in the SEC championship dropping them in the rankings.

Florida wins the Championship

Biggest Surprise: Michigan State
Good Team they will do well in the Big Ten battling with Ohio State for 2nd beneath Penn State.

Biggest Disappointment: Virginia Tech (Sorry Josh)
-Seriously they have struggled the last couple years plus the ACC doesn't get much respect. I hope I am wrong because they have a great coach, and a very good and exciting young QB. If they play the way the should and stay healthy they could compete in the BCS. Unfortunately I don't see it happening.

Michigan's Record: 6-6

Behind the talent of a new QB with the skill set required for a Rich Rodriguez offense Michigan should perform much more consistently this year. There shouldn't be another App State or Toledo loss.

Mich. vs W. Mich. - Win
Mich. vs Notredame - Win,
Mich. vs. E. Mich. - Win
Mich. vs. Indiana - Win
Mich. vs. Mich. St - Loss
Mich. vs Iowa - Loss
Mich. vs Delaware St. - Win
Mich. vs Penn State - Loss
Mich. vs Illinois - Loss
Mich. vs Purdue - Win
Mich. vs Wisconsin - Loss
Mich. vs Ohio State - Loss

WATCH OUT FOR THE WOLVERINES NEXT YEAR! I personally am not a huge fan of their new offensive scheme and never have been but they will be a force in 2010!
