Beyond A Reasonable Doubt

Have you ever thought this question:

Would you frame yourself for murder?

I certainly have not and can't say I have any intentions to do so....ever. So why ask it now? That is the tagline of the movie, "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt," and the plot centers on this very concept with a journalist framing himself for murder, for the purpose of a news story! The ethics of using a murder aside, this is a very good movie staring Michael Douglas. In fact Douglas is the only widely known actor in this film (Sorry to those whom I said Martin Sheen stared, my mistake). Their are elements of predictability in this feature but their are enough twists of the plot to compensate for the predictability. Not only are their several plot twists but their is one or two major flaws in the plans of several characters making a great and suspenseful thriller. This movie is worth the watch and I recommend it to anyone, however, the kids probably shouldn't watch this film as it is appropriately rated PG-13.

So would you frame yourself for murder?

Would you if it meant a career boost?

Personally I am going to stick with no, but it is an interesting question ain't it.
