Guard my life and rescue me;
let me not be put to shame,
for I take refuge in You.
May integrity and uprightness
protect me
because my hope is in You.
let me not be put to shame,
for I take refuge in You.
May integrity and uprightness
protect me
because my hope is in You.
Our spiritual enemy puts so many obstacles in our life that tempt us to give in to demands undermining our values. It is our values that our world sees from us, not our intentions or, more often our justification in fact most, if not all, of us are experts at making the wrong thing sound right. I know I can, in fact sometimes the wrong route seems amazing easy and the justification makes it sound perfect. I struggle with this and currently have taken the road less traveled. The path is interesting to say the least but I know the destination will be worth the struggle (which is really not even a struggle, just merely uncomfortable). It is, nonetheless, tempting to turn around and return the the easy road with common rewards. I encourage all of you, and myself, to stay on the course of integrity and uprightness and to pray about the destination diligently and always keep the faith! Remember:
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for
and certain of what we cannot see.
Hebrews 11:1 (emphasis added)
and certain of what we cannot see.
Hebrews 11:1 (emphasis added)
