Gerald Ford - MICHIGAN - But not elected
Jimmy Carter - Georgia
Ronald Reagon - California
George H.W. Bush - Texas
Bill Clinton - Arkansas
George W. Bush - Texas
Barack Obama - Illinois
I know hardly important but interesting none-the-less. Just remember in years:

BHO - 2008 - ???? (Hopefully 2012 or 2016)
Maybe the south did rise again.............................
